Comprise correspondence, some in old-style German cursive (part with translations), a motto given him by his father in 1865, notebooks and "Prison memories" in "Arendshau stenographie" written during incarceration in Germany for "provoking the military to disobedience." A letter from C. Timmerman encloses copies of letters from A. Berkman and E. Goldman. Several correspondents are unidentified.
